Dr. Darren Jenkins has returned to Utah after 7 years of medical training. He attended Medical School at ATSU Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He Completed Family Practice residency at Kingman Regional Medical Center in Arizona and is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Jenkins was born and raised in Utah and prior to medical school and attended the University of Utah, earning a bachelor’s degree in Medicinal Chemistry and in Medical Technologist. Prior to medical school he worked at Virtual Anatomy doing Marketing and 3D computer animation on human anatomy and also worked a few years at Jordan Valley Hospital Laboratory as a Medical Technologist.

Dr Jenkins’ Medical knowledge covers a broad range of medical problems from diabetes and sinusitis to back pain and knee problems, but he treats patients with a focus on healthy diet, lifestyle, and preventative medicine. Being active in sports and exercise himself, he has developed a love for sports and physical medicine. Dr. Jenkins has also been trained in manual manipulation. Being a family doctor, he sees patients of all ages from new born to 100 years and makes each patient a part of his medical family.

Family is an important part of Dr. Jenkins’ life. He spends his free time with them exercising, helping with homework, little league, playing softball, biking, and other outdoor activities

Dr. Jenkins’ areas of expertise are broad, but a few of the more common include:
